The Praetorian Guard RC Iron Butt Run is not for the casual rider.  This is a 1,000 mile ride in a 24 hour period.  The Praetorian Guard RC would suggests that each rider or passenger planning on riding this course prepare themselves for this experience.  There is good information on long distance riding at www.ironbutt.com

For riders coming from out of town, why start the run tired or head home exhausted?  Special rates are being offered by the Quality Inn for participants of the Iron Butt Run.  To make reservations, you must call the Quality Inn at (843) 524-2144 and make sure you ask for the special rates for the Iron Butt Run.

Come on out and support the riders and show your support for those who's lives are touched by autism.  The support staff for this event will be at the Quality Inn from the time that the first rider registers until the last rider is in. 

The staff will be doing their best to track each rider's progress and post it on Facebook.

The fees for registering your ride with the Iron Butt Association will be determined by the number of participants.  Iron Butt Association has special rates for group/club rides.

No fees will be collected from any rider wishing to register their ride with the Iron Butt Association until they have completed the event.
